How it works

From your photo. To their portrait.

  1. Step 01

    Upload

A clear photo of your pet — face in focus, decent natural light. Most phone photos work.

  2. Step 02

    Hand draw

A trained portrait artist hand-draws your pet from your photo — every whisker, every marking.

  3. Step 03

    Engraved

Every line of the portrait laser-engraved into 316L surgical steel — held in the metal itself.

  4. Step 04

    Gift ready

Packed in a velvet box with a hand-tied ribbon — ready to give or keep.

  5. Step 05

    Ship

Sealed, labeled, and on its way — with 30-day returns if anything's not right.

About

A heart within a heart. The outer frame is open, shaped like the space grief leaves behind. The inner heart is sealed, holding a small portion of ashes, a wisp of fur, or whatever you need to keep close. Their name is laser-engraved on the inner face in a script that catches the light when you move. The two-tone finish (rhodium frame, gold or rose gold inside) reads as quiet jewelry rather than memorial announcement. Worn full or worn empty until the day you're ready.

FAQ
Is the inner heart's chamber actually sealed?

Yes — small threaded screw cap on the inner heart, against a rubber O-ring inner seal. The chamber holds through daily wear. Worn empty also works.

Will the inner heart rattle, swing around, or feel loose when worn?

The inner heart suspends from a small steel link inside the outer frame, so it shifts gently as you move and catches light differently from each angle. The movement is deliberate, not loose — the link is the same 316L steel as the pendant, built for daily wear and silent.

Will the name on the inner heart stay readable over years of wear?

Yes — the name is cut directly into the steel surface, not printed ink. The mark catches light against the polished surface around it, making the name visible without being loud. It won't fade or rub off through years of daily wear.

How is this different from the cat-shaped urn necklace?

The cat urn is species-specific, sculptural, name engraved on inward-facing belly. This open-heart is abstract and universal — works for any pet, any name, any loss. Pick the cat for a recognizable form; pick the heart for a quieter, symbolic memorial that doesn't name a species.

Will the steel tarnish or the plating wear off over years of daily wear?

No — 316L surgical steel doesn't tarnish, and the plating is durable and color-stable through years of daily wear, including showering and skin contact. The engraving on the inner heart is structural; it can't fade.

Some bonds are worth tracing. Always.
