Will the engraved names stay sharp through daily wear?
Yes — the names are cut into the steel structurally, not printed ink on top. 316L surgical steel is tarnish-resistant; the plating holds color through showering and daily contact. Names stay readable for years.
How is this different from the Pet Name Bar Necklace?
Both honor multiple pets in one chain. This necklace stacks paw-shaped pendants (up to 5), each with a name engraved. The Bar Necklace uses name bars woven into the chain itself (up to 3). Paw if you want the iconic silhouette; bar if you want minimalist bars built into the chain.
Can I add a pet later if my family grows?
Each necklace ships with the paw count you ordered. To add a new pet later, contact us — we can craft an additional paw and ship it for you to layer onto the existing chain, or build a second necklace. Many customers add a new paw when a new pet joins.
Is there a bracelet version of these paw charms?
