How it works

From your photo. To their portrait.

  1. Step 01

    Upload

A clear photo of your pet — face in focus, decent natural light. Most phone photos work.

  2. Step 02

    Hand draw

A trained portrait artist hand-draws your pet from your photo — every whisker, every marking.

  3. Step 03

    Engraved

Every line of the portrait laser-engraved into 316L surgical steel — held in the metal itself.

  4. Step 04

    Gift ready

Packed in a velvet box with a hand-tied ribbon — ready to give or keep.

  5. Step 05

    Ship

Sealed, labeled, and on its way — with 30-day returns if anything's not right.

About

Most cremation pendants ask you to choose: portrait OR urn. This one is both. An artist draws your pet's face from your photo and engraves it onto the front of a small disc pendant. Inside, a sealed cavity holds a small portion of ashes, a wisp of fur, or whatever you choose to carry. Portrait side faces out; the chamber stays private. Fill it the day it arrives or months later. The pendant carries them either way.

FAQ
Is the urn cavity sealed against daily wear?

Yes — threaded screw cap with rubber O-ring set into the base of the disc. Stays securely closed for everyday wear; we recommend taking it off before showering or swimming. Worn empty works just as well; many wait to fill.

Will the portrait read clearly on a flat disc, or will details get lost?

Reads clearly. The disc gives full circular space for the face — the artist composes specifically for this surface, with line weights calibrated so whiskers and ear folds both read at arm's length. If your reference photo lacks the detail to draw from, we'll email before drawing.

How is this different from the Pet Photo Urn Necklace (teardrop)?

Same hand-drawn portrait, same urn function. The disc reads flat and visible across the chest — portrait shows clearly. The teardrop is sculptural and softer in silhouette. Pick disc if you want maximum portrait visibility; pick teardrop for a quieter shape.

Will the portrait engraving and finish hold up to layering with other necklaces?

Yes — the portrait is laser-engraved into the steel structurally, not a surface print. 316L doesn't tarnish; the plating resists wear from layering, daily contact, and incidental scratches.

Is the portrait drawn by hand or generated by software?

Drawn by hand from your photo. Not a pixel filter, not AI. The artist studies your photo, draws the version that engraves cleanly onto metal, then the drawing (not the photo itself) goes to the laser. That's how we get a recognizable face at 20mm.

Some bonds are worth tracing. Always.
